Our courses are tailored to cover various configurations, including wall-mounted, floor-mounted, and fully or partially rotating jib arms. Delivered by our experienced instructors across the UK, this training combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills to ensure operators can perform lifting tasks safely and effectively.

Theory of load weight estimation, sling angles, safe working loads, and working load limits.
Lift Planning and Documentation
Routine lift planning procedures and necessary documentation.
Equipment Identification and Inspection
Identification and inspection of lifting accessories and equipment.
Defect Reporting
Procedures for reporting equipment defects.
Marking and Rating Methods
Understanding methods of marking and rating for lifting accessories.
Pre-use Inspections
Conducting pre-use inspections of the crane and lifting accessories.
Crane Controls and Movement
Basic crane controls and movement, including loaded and unloaded operations and controlling load swing.
Practical Slinging and Load Movement
Hands-on experience in slinging and moving workplace loads.
Accessory Selection for Multi-Legged Lifts
Selecting appropriate lifting accessories for multi-legged lifting operations.
Communication and Signaling
Use of hand signals and tag lining procedures for directing and controlling loads.
